Always pleasant atmosphere. Staff always there to help. Great seafood. Always fresh and prepare well. Not greasy. I've always gone here for the best oysters. Always fresh and steamed to level of doneness ordered. Very consistent in flavor. Clean well staffed with good people. Managed very well. A very well organized bar. Can't do better anywhere. Great!

Our church group met and thoroughly enjoyed our time there! The server was friendly and attentive. The food was hot and fresh and the taste was phenomenal! I got the three seafood platter. The clam strips weren't hard or chewy as they often are at many places. The oysters and shrimp were awesome!

I usually like there food. But my last visit was not a good one.

Used to find really good seafood in almost any restaurant years ago. I am thankful to find this place. Good seafood every visit and the large oyster plate is more than I can eat. Highly recommended!

What can I say that hasn't already been said. I've gone to this restaurant since I was a kid and food is always first rate. The waitstaff are professional and never leave you thirsty.

Excellent! My wife and I each got the large seafood platter (4 items) and were shocked at the generous portions at a very reasonable price. Which was all DELICIOUS!! Also, due to COVID-19, they had a tent set up and taking curbside orders. The attending staff could not have been any nicer. We will DEFINITELY be back!

If fried seafood is what appease your palate then this the place .

We're order ordered 2 senior plates. They charged us for 2 small. I questioned it. They said they gave us small plates, which we didn't eat all it. It cost us over $47 & we had water to drink. Not only that, at check out, all the employees were starring at me & there was quite a few just standing around. It was busy. I had noticed prior to this , everyone was waiting to get service and was waiting for ticket or something, most were elderly. One waitress stood & talked to the table beside is for the longest time.

Ample quantity of good seafood. Good service, and wait times aren`t too long (usually).

They definitely have their act together with the call in orders. When we got there and saw the line for pickup I thought we'd be there 30 minutes or more. Nope. They are organized. And the food was outstanding.

Kinda hard to find a good seafood place .. around certain parks was impressed.food was good ..temps was hot .clean environment.tables was cleaned as people left.. Kelsey was awesome.. stayed busy .. will return thanks .. no complaints about the price #seafood lover

Have not ate here often. Have taken many people here for Birthday and just for convenience. Location is great for buisness. Good food at great prices. Great wait staff and cooks.

If you like fried seafood and a friendly staff this place is great. They offer large servings at a decent price (4 seafood choices and 2 sides for $15). It can be busy and you may have a short wait Thursday through Saturday nights, but it's worth it. If you are brave do the Rooster shooter, finish three of these firecrackers and you get the "I survived the flaming. Rooster" t-shirt. I've got mine 😎 only scored 4 stars instead of 5 for the record, place needs an update.

I love this place. The closest decent seafood restaurant around. Food is always good and quick. Hush puppies are perfect...and staff is friendly. Most of the time theres a wait so be prepared.

First time, we have been there. Waitress and staff were awesome. We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. Food was great and had something for all 10 of us. WE WILL BE BACK!

Now if you are a Seafood lover!! This is the place to eat!!! Lots of yummy food, just rolls off your plate because they fill your plate. They don't count the seafood there. Plus, an Oyster Bar in the back of the restaurant, Great!! I dare you to try the "Rooster"!!! I have many times, it is a challenge, but it is so so tasty! Enjoy the experience and taste. Yummy!

The Sand piper Seafood House is a great place for seafood. It always has great service, great food and good prices. You will have to wait in line but it is well worth the wait.

Prices are great. For the price they give you a lot of food that is seasoned great. They serve hush puppies while you wait for your food which doesn't take a long time to be served at your table.

Just went July 10 for Wife's Birthday she said she wanted food from there the line for take out was very long but they really had it together. Moved very quickly..once you to to the side to pick up food. Some of the people getting order didn't have Mask on . Food was not great and that's a 1st hushpuppy were very hard and forgot the applesauce that was ordered line was just to long to go back plus I live in Goldsboro. This was a 1st for bad food !!

Delicious and cooked fresh! Not too busy at 7:45pm. Expect a wait earlier in the evening but well worth the wait. Prices fair. Family favorite.

Great place to eat! You may have to wait just a few short minutes to be seated but the food is worth the wait! Love the oyster bar ...cozy with friendly staff! Waitresses are great..there when you need them and they don't hover. Clean restaurant with delicious seafood! Many choices on the menu.. fried, broiled and steamed!

My grandparents and I call in and pick up almost every Friday night! Staff is always friendly and the food is AMAZING!!! Some of the best fried shrimp and French fries I’ve had!

We tried the Raw Bar at the back of the main building through a separate entrance. Cozy and Retro it has a wider selection of menu items than the main restaurant. Sit at the bar to eat, it's fun.

Mostly a Seafood Restaurant my cousin loved it... for me I can pass. This place was in North Carolina but me was not my type of fish factory bought and frozen, sorry.

Very disappointed in the Sandpiper on Sat. Night. None of the workers wore masks or gloves. I really wanted to leave, this is really bad for a restaurant at this covid 19 scare and the death tolls in that area. I won't go back and we usually eat there often, we live in Greenville.

I love this place only thing I wish was just a little bigger portion of sides and open on Tuesday’s... I drive a hour just to eat at this place when they are open and always stop in on the way home from the coast. If you haven’t been, you need to go, worth the money!!!!

All I have to say about THIS place is yummy food . Very clean very well management respectful waitresses and severs yes there is a waiting time yes it's very busy but the seafood is very delicious 😋 the plates are well full the prices are fair enough and I. Love the hush puppies are butter 😋 the only thing I wish is that they could get a bigger place and a bigger parking lot because if you don't get here way way early before it opens you'll have to hunt a spot to park and you'll end up waiting a while to get in and eat but as fare as the food I guess it's well worth the wait but it does feel like you're being rushed out because they need to get others waiting in so be ready to sit and run lol 😜😝😂.

As usual the food was great and the service was fast and friendly. I got a combo, flounder and shrimp, and more than enough for me to fill up to the brim (no pun intended). This is a GREAT place to eat just on an ordinary night or on the way to and from vacation. They accommodate individual seating or groups for parties all with the same attention when it comes to preparing your meal.
